Celebrating Sarah – one of our fundraising heroes

This is a news piece to celebrate Sarah – one of our most successful fundraising heroes.

Sarah went through a difficult period of huge adversity and went on to become one of our adopters.

She wanted to channel that adversity into something positive and decided to do some community fundraising on behalf of Adoption Matters.

This Christmas, she has organised a Christmas Wreath making event combining it with a cake bake sale – along with other small events, she has managed to raise over £2,100.

And it doesn’t stop there – Sarah is hoping to repeat the wreath event in 2026, and might be planning something else for summer 2026.

We are so grateful to Sarah, as we are to all of our fundraising heroes.

As a charity, we rely on both internal and external supporters to help us raise much needed funds. We are all so thankful to Sarah and her family for taking the time to support our wonderful charity.
