This vacancy is for 1st Affinity Fostering Service – an independent fostering agency based in Gresford, Wrexham, which is owned by Adoption Matters.

As one of the leading independent fostering agencies, our focus is on providing excellent outcomes for children and young people who have experienced numerous placement disruptions or have lived in a residential children’s home. The role:

We are looking for dedicated supervising social workers who are passionate about supporting foster carers and committed to improving the lives and outcomes of children and young people.

You will be joining a successful independent fostering agency, where you’ll be part of a supportive, collaborative, and positive work environment that values your wellbeing, professional growth, and the impact you make every day.

Requirements:

  • Recognised social work qualification
  • A valid registration with social care Wales and /or social work England
  • At least one years experience working within children’s social care
  • Valid driving licence
  • Organised, proactive and have a passion for working alongside carers and children
