Ben is an inquisitive, fun little boy who loves to make people laugh. He loves to sing and dance and he loves pets, as his foster family have a dog, cat and rabbit. His favourite song is “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” which is his ‘wake up’ song!
Ben is a happy, healthy and sociable little boy who loves to explore. He has a good daily routine, eats and sleeps well, and enjoys trying new foods — especially tasting from other people’s plates once he has finished his own! He uses a fork and spoon at mealtimes and has great skills drinking from a covered cup.
He is active, growing in confidence, and enjoys new adventures. He is currently having help with his speech and attends a small speech‑support group with his foster parent. He is learning lots of new words, especially animal names.

Play and Learning
Ben loves being out and about in the community — whether that’s visiting shops, cafés, or going to local play‑and‑stay groups. He LOVES visiting a nearby forest and woods, exploring! He is very sociable and interacts warmly with people around him.
His favourite activity is football. He also enjoys helping to build towers and then knocking them down. He likes creative and messy play, including crayons and paints.
Ben’s early life
Due to Ben’s very early life experiences in utero, Ben’s ongoing development and progress is being closely monitored. He is doing very well and meeting many of his milestones.
What family does Ben need?
Ben needs an adoptive family who can accept him for who he is and support him as he grows. We are open to individuals, couples or families with children. As proud members of New Family Social, we encourage enquiries from the LGBTQ+ community. What matters most is finding an adopter family who can meet Ben’s needs now and in the future.
